WELCOME TO OURAY COUNTY FOOD PANTRY
The Ouray County Food Pantry was established in 2012 as a non-profit, 501c3 organization.
The Board of Directors has two primary goals. One is to serve the nutritionally underserved residents of Ouray County in an efficient and respectful manner. Secondly, to provide a meaningful volunteer opportunity for those persons who have a common interest in serving their community. Volunteers from the Pantry also distribute - in partnership with Foodbank of the Rockies - TEFAP (The Emergency Food Assistance Program) and CSFP (Commodity Supplemental Food Program) food on the first Thursday of every month available at the Pantry during the same hours the Pantry is open. These are federal programs that provide food to Seniors and to people living on low income. For more details on qualifications, please click TEFAP and CSFP. |
